- Opie doesn't pull in the numbers required and is let go after said year.
- While looking for a new network, he decides THIS is the best time to release that multi-part Jackie Martling interview... with video... for free.
What am I not getting about this scenario?
On YouTube alone, those Jackie clips are getting 5-figure views (one is at nearly 30k) while his regular podcast would only get 3 figures.
Why would you not save that for when it counts, instead of when you're in-between networks?

YouTube is on its way out. Scorch famously had double digit views on that shit platform for PFG TV, while he was syndicated to 80 domestic markets and London, England, with millions of cumulative viewers every week (incl. re-runs)
