JFC, how delusional are these open mic “comics”. This no name faggot actually said “if I was on this show I would take myself off.” Then bragged about being runner up in a local comedy contest. Don’t worry pal, I don’t think you’ll be sharing the bill with Louis CK anytime soon.
"To me, this is mostly on the club doing this," Danzy says. "It sends a terrible message to the community, because it's the hardest club to get into and do weekends at and I say that as a runner-up to the Funniest Comic in Texas (competition).
I find solice in the fact that these people's only claim to fame will be talking about a much higher profiled comedian's sexual proclivities, in an article.
I don't have an issue with people who find what Louis did gross and no longer wish to watch him perform -- that's a valid reaction and their prerogative.
This "ban him due to workplace safety" stuff is transparently horseshit. The amount of people who glibly follow up that statement with something like, "it's not like he needs money anyway, but if does he can just work at McDonalds", shows they don't care about the safety of women -- at least not any women they consider beneath them socially -- they just want him off the stage.
Standing ovations and thrilled receptions really undermine the "comedy is done with Louis CK" idea that whining comics continue to push, so rather than make it about personal taste they make it about public safety.

I genuinely can’t believe he doesn’t have the draw that Louis has.

Sick of these talentless losers getting validated for taking sanctimonious, public stances against legends who made mistakes in their private lives.

Right, it's like the women of McDonald's don't deserve to be safe
1 Phkna1 2019-06-29
They don't.

In the end this is just making Louis even more funny.

This is what louie deserves for all his artsy garbage over the years. He played their game and lost.
1 d4n4n 2019-06-29
And his apology. None of this would have happened had he just come out and defended himself.
1 ReDMeridiaN 2019-06-29
There’s all kinds of articles complaining about Louis performing, and they’re all written by nasty women no one cares about.
