Sunshine is one of the best Sci-Fi movies ever and that was Fox Searchlight, their indie studio. As was Millions and 127 Hours, critic favorites. Jobs was Legendary, Slumdog was some no-name French distributor which was a bit part of the media hype for a literal underdog story. Yesterday is Universal I think...
