His podcast is really close to being something I could listen to everyday, but his 13 year old stoner mentality ruins it. He has the best and most interesting guests of any podcast and Joe just kinda sucks. He needs a good “3rd mic” that isn’t so middle of the road.
I think podcasting lacks the structure that actual radio shows had, that it desperately needs. Just 1 or 2 guys rambling into a microphone, with no radio experience, just doesnt really do it for me.
Adam Carolla does a pretty good podcast, and its because he runs it exactly like a radio show, which he did for many years. But those guys are on the way out
I agree, and Carolla is the only thing I check on a semi-daily basis because it’s topical, but holy shit, dude, I got it. The mayor of LA is an idiot. What else is going on outside of fucking North Hollywood, Ace?
