Culturally, Black people tend to be more vocal than White people and way more defiant, so of course there’s eventually going to be some pushback. Especially when you’re actively telling them what they can and can’t say.
I for one applaud his efforts to troll the Hannah Gadsby culture, as anything that enrages people who use the word "cis" is fine, dandy and even noble in my book.
