IF - and only if - I HAD to interact with Joe semi regularly I could rationalize spending 60,000 BIG ONES annually just to keep Joe's subservience and keep his obnoxiousness in check; pay him to shut the fuck up and be a yes man basically, an implied understanding.

AntH is obviously too spineless to tell Joe to get a job or even politely say fuck off when Joe comes begging like a dog with a sob story and those lifeless bovine eyes and rambling. I would probably throw money at him too if it was impossible to get away from him any other way.

When JoeH's allowance stops coming in he will be in deep, deep doo doo even with the hag's dead husband's $$$. Joe will see this as a 'breach' of "the sacred oath" and turn on AntH as soon as the money dried up, you've heard it here first folks. It must be nice to have dignity and self self respect.
