Fun Fact #2: According to Joe, halfway through the audition Lars Ulrich looked over to James Hetfield, made a "cutting" gesture across his throat and smiled as he told him "You're done. He's it." Joe then patted James on the head while the two of them shared a hearty chuckle over Lars' joke.
