Clearly Joe coerced Ant to gifting him 60k a year. Ant didn’t bother to see his mom the last 5 years of her life; thus, I cannot see him volunteering without provocation to giving Joe a large sum of money every year. Even if you are making 5 million dollars a year, it would still annoy the shit out of you having to give out 60k a year to some loser sibling that expects that allowance annually until the day you die. Furthermore, Ant was also paying his ex-wife a large some of money let alone all the taxes he would owe for that salary.

I imagine joe might have been in some money problems or in-between jobs and ant helped him, which turned into the handouts. Then they retrospectively made up the childhood agreement
