I don't know the full story as I haven't been on the sub as long or as much as others. But to my knowledge, the original O&A sub was deemed by some computer or some shit the most or second most vitriolic sub on all of Reddit. And then I believe the University of Texas added the sub to some course as part of its curriculum to study toxic online behavior. I could be completely wrong, so linger longer either way.
