I went over to my parents place earlier today to get some stuff of mine out of their attic and one of the first things my Mother said to me while I was there was "Did you hear about that Food Network guy dying? The one that was on Guy Fieri's show? I used to watch him all the time."
It took every ounce of strength for me to not start laughing like a goddamn psychopath. Thank God I was able to hold it in though. I can't imagine trying to explain any of this shit to someone.
AP and/or Reuters must have picked it up if it's on so many sites now. Those cooking shows he was on have huge audiences. Anything that Gay Fiery guy touches seems to turn to gold.
he's on the ny times website too! he was extremely popular from opie radio and the food network. i wear my ruizing hat all the time and i constantly have people coming up to me saying how much they love carl and giving me high 5s.
