When he speaks, hes usually funny, like an above average comedian. But he speaks so infrequently on the show, that overall it makes him a below average comedian.
Hes too reserved, he plays it too safe. Hes quiet, you hardly notice hes on the show. Even if he said dumber stuff more often it would be better than what hes doing now. He just fades into the background when hes on. Hes too beta, he needs to be more offensive to other guests (either putting them down, or putting down their bad behavior, be more critical, judgmental) in my unvarnished opinion.
