So, why is there not an Anthony & Gavin show?

Whenever they're on together it's clearly a more entertaining and better flowing show than solo Anthony, and of course it would be, because it's two people shootin' the shit versus one. And let me just say that Anthony is and always will be the funniest guy on whatever show it is.

I also understand building up the network, and the value of having Gavin running his own show, but limiting their partnership to a few episodes a month seems like a missed opportunity.

Have all the East Side Dave/Crime Report shows you want, no matter how entertaining, they can't match Anthony and Gavin's draw/wit/potential.

If they spent some time (any time!...at least Gavin tries) on producing content for the show (man on the street, strange bits whatever they may be) it would be amazing.

Do any of you think an Anthony/Gavin show should happen? Am I just crazy? I think the consensus is that Gavin's show is fine, but Anthony's is missing that missing piece, which is a co-host. I love Anthony's show, because he's a funny guy, but again, why is this not happening?

I think Gavin sitting in on Ant's show is going to be a much more regular thing. I doubt they'll officially combine the shows - but it's clear that Ant's show is always much better when someone else is on, especially Gavin.

I think so too, I think last week it was obvious how much the show improved once gavin came on. If Gavin is already at the studio working on other shit and hanging out anyway, why not bring him in after an hour or so to shoot the shit with Ant? Same goes for ESD, or Pat. I think there should be as much crossover as possible.

Totally agree. I can't see it as much for NYC crime report though, only because that's more scripted than any of the other shows.

They're a goddamned force to be reckoned with together. Ant absolutely needs a co-host, and no one is better suited for that than Gavin. They feed off each other perfectly.

I feel like Anthony feels compelled to interview someone when they're on his show one on one. It just comes across like an very tense uncomfortable forced conversation. However when there's a guy he knows well they just shoot the shit. That's why they're always the better shows. Especially with Gavin, Jimmy, Ronnie B, Bob Kelly, Nick DiPaolo etc.

Anthony and Gavin should be the Friday show or Thursday or something.
