Cumia Show iPad app problem - can't minimize video anymore

Having an annoying problem with the Cumia Show app on an iPad Air with iOS 9.3.1. iOS 9 introduced a new "picture in picture" feature that lets you minimize a video while it's playing and use other apps with the video still playing in a corner. This worked with the Cumia Show app for awhile, but it has since stopped working.

I'm pretty sure it's something that changed with the app because I didn't notice the change after an iOS update, and videos in other apps can still be minimized.

Is anyone else experiencing this, and if so is it possible for this feature be added back? Thanks.

Have there been any Cumia show IOS app updates recently? I use the app occasionally on an old iPad 2 but I never use the "picture in picture" mode. Might have to send this bug directly to Zype.
