With the approach of Jocktober, Opie and Anthony always bitch about radio shows with a "hole". Well, they may not know it but they have a "hole" on their show, too - the hole's name is Sam Roberts.
opie is like a conductor, he is vital to a lot, but it's not noticeable unless you pay attention.... him steering the ship allows ant to be a lot funnier
he's also willing to make an uncomfortable situation with any celebrity and blow up their spot
Agreed. When Opie was gone recently the show really rambled at times. I like that Ant can freeform, but it got too much and just went off the rails sometimes.
Both Sam and Opie play the hole role. I like when Opie is out and Sam dosen't do his annoying schtick. I also like Sam's podcast where he drops his little act and talks like a normal person. The whole bash erock thing is just old and a time waster. They drag that out now at least 2 or 3 times a week when Anthony is done screaming about blacks.
Shit is getting super repetitive, I agree. Jimmy's apnea, Ant's racism and hatred of Obama, Opie and their contract, Sam vs. ERock. I feel like I'm listening to repeats sometimes.
Did you recently start listening? There's always been blocks of subjects that just get beaten and repetitive. The continuous topics seem to change quarterly.
