I just listened to a show from 2008 where they actually did a short interview with the guy. Goofed on him a little. I wish I could remember the show it was.
I am an active homebrewer and this bit transcends O&A. Listening to the Sunday Session a few weeks back they interviewed a brewer from avondale brewing and a state senator, they JUST approved new percentages for beer in the state.
Do a little reading on Miss Fancy the elephant. During prohibition her owner said she needed beer to be happy and he was just drinking surrendered alcohol himself. Now she's the mascot of avondale brewing.
