I recently started listening to Ron & Fez and really like it. It's slower, more casual and less caustic but, in my mind, just as funny. I got turned onto R & F through Ronnie B sitting in on the O & A show. Like others have said here, Ronnie is a god damn genius. I could listen to that man yammer all day long. I do, however, think that the show is held back because of Ron's loyalty to Fez although it's hard to dislike Fez.
I started out with Opie and Anthony, but nowadays I listen to Ron and Fez a lot more. It's got such a positive vibe and usually I find I laugh more through an R&F show than an O&A one. Ronny B is my hero and has a heart of gold.
Yeah I just can't listen to O&A when they are bitching and complaining and they seem to do it all the time. Complaining about their bosses, complaining about other radio shows, complaining and complaining...
It warms my heart to see everyone loving Ron and Fez, its so fucking niche that nobody I meet IRL is a listener, or even aware that radio shows still exist, same with O&A.
Ronnie B is so smooth that I sometimes wonder if he might be satan.
I've only been listening about a year or so and have never actually seen a photo of them --- OMFG! Totally faces made for radio, unlike Sweater Boy Cute Jimmy Norton.
When they first started on the channel, I had a hard time getting over Fez' voice, but O&A spoke of them with such reverence, I stuck with it. I grew to love the show. Ronnie B is probably the funniest of the 5, save maybe Jimmy. As time has gone by, Fez has faded a bit, which is fine. Pepper Hicks is entertaining, and Ronnie seems to enjoy talking to him.
I do. However, I only started listening this year. I could imagine that the show is drastically different than when it started. The Fez announcement was interesting, but I wish Fez would has been better for longer.
Yeah, Ron and Fez are great. Ronnie B is a very intelligent and wise man. But with Opie and Anthony and all the great podcasts that are out right now, I don't have time to listen very often.
Question though: Fez sounded awesome after he came out as gay. Is he still happier, or did he recede back into sad Fez mode?
I really enjoy them as well. I also like Pepper Hicks a lot. Some shows get on my nerves though, like the one where they spent hours trying to get Fez's cat to talk.

I've gone through phases where I prefer it. Nothing beats a goold ol' fashioned AFRO show, though

I've tried getting into them on several occasions, and each time I just couldn't really enjoy it as much as O&A.
But when Ronnie B guest hosts with O&A (or one of the two), that's some magic right there.

I can tell you most won't, but I do like it sometimes. It's a slower paced show, but it has it's moments.

He's back to Fez-mode ಠ_ಠ
Although perhaps a little better. Being gay(I'm not sure he really is) isn't his problem. He just lost all confidence.

I loved the show for a while. I wish Chris Stanley's little comments (always backing Ron up) did not annoy me so...

Pepper hicks is awesome, what are you smoking?! Makes me laugh all the time, wish it was the ron and hicks show (it is pretty well anyways).
