The PT story

I'm assuming this has to be terrible. Criterion has a knack for packaging mediocre dogshit and pretentious art snoozefests as if they're masterpieces.

"Fat Girl is not only a portrayal of female adolescent sexuality and the complicated bond between siblings but also a shocking assertion by the always controversial Catherine Breillat that violent oppression exists at the core of male-female relations."

No thanks.

To be fair the films they have that are good are great quality.

True. They're good at what they do.

I picked up the whole Lone Wolf and Cup series by them a year ago. One of my best blind purchases.

I've only seen Shogun Assassin but it was pretty cool. Need to check out the whole series. They put out a lot of good stuff too, but still I'd say they're a mixed bag.

The movie is not that great, but the last 10-15 minutes are pretty amazing for it's tension-building through editing. Skip to the end

I torrented this 10 years ago, it actually is pretty good
