I've heard this alleged many times. Disagreeing with someone else's politics is fine but violence isn't the answer and striking women is never acceptable!

He wrote a huge long post on Facebook about how beating women in public is okay if they are republican of have a MAGA hat because they are Nazis not people and all bets are off. He was responding to a real event where a woman got hit in the eye on stage at a comedy club for having a MAGA hat.
He was quite serious and the 12 people who support him cheered this on.
