Welcome. There's also a 70's show called Night Gallery hosted by Rod Serling. Most of them sucked but they did a couple Lovecraft stories that were good.
I tried watching through night gallery and you're right. I don't have the patience to watch them all and find the best ones but they weren't all terrible. Definitely charming in some ways.
No. Fitting Punishment is a episode of Tales From the Crypt. Tales from the Hood is a 90's theatrical release. Tales From the Darkside was a syndicated show in the 80's.
Can't remember the name of it, but the one where a doctor (or mortician, idk) starts using some sort of drug to cause temporary death or something. Scared the piss outta me as a kid.
"And All Through the House" - Killer Santa Claus episode
"Cutting Cards" - Two high end gamblers with a bitter rivalry decide to end it with a game of russian roulette.
"Television Terror" - Morton Downey Jr hosts a live show investigating a haunted house.
"The New Arrival" - A Dr. Phil type radio host investigates one of his frequent callers problem child, but he discovers things aren't what they seem.
"People Who Live in Brass Hearses" - Two convict brothers plan to get revenge on a former coworker: a reclusive ice cream man, who was responsible for their jail time.
"Death of Some Salesman" - A con artist door to door salesman meets his match when he enters the home of a psychotic redneck family, all portrayed by Tim Curry.
Television Terror, And All Through The House, The Ventriloquist's Dummy, Undertaking Palor, The New Arrival, House of Horror, Well Cooked Hams, Creep Course, Werewolf Concerto, Korman's Kalamity
"Three's a Crowd" still stands out to me. The show is usually comedic in tone, but this episode was rather harsh. The movies, Demon Knight and Bordello of Blood, are worth watching, too. If you're looking for similar shows you should check out Perversions of Science. It was a spinoff that ran for only one season.
Kids bust into a funeral home basement and see the insidious mortician at work who turns out to be in cahoots with the local pharmacist in murdering people for profit all around....

Fitting Punishment. A old black dude owns a funeral parlor. There was a show called Tales From the Darkside in the 80's that had some good episodes.

Yellow
Last episode of season 3. Kirk and Eric Douglas, Dan Aykroyd, directed by Zemeckis. Strongly influenced by Paths of Glory.

Mourning Mess. Great and it's not really 45 minutes.

Idk, but surely the most frightening nails from the crypt can be found on Brie Larson.

I'm still going through them but Top Billing is one of my favorites so far.

Cutting Cards was amazing. Lance Henriksen is insanely underrated.

Split Personality is decent. Not the best, but Joe Pesci plays a pretty funny scumbag. S04E11
