In college my roommate was Italian. We had a Mexican lady who was the janitor in our building. Every time we'd walk past her, she would start talking to him in Spanish. It pissed him off to no end.
Italian women are gorgeous in their youth generally. My belief the reason they hold onto to the "til death do us part" of their Catholic/wedding vows is because they know the inevitable outcome.
