Came at the 01-23-2019 (3:27:30 hour mark) show. He said,"I've never stood in anyone's way. There's been tons of guys that have attacked me, done terrible things on the radio. You take opie & anthony when they were here on sirius. I could've at any time walked in and said I want them out of here. I've never once did that bc i couldn't live with myself if i took away their job"

Again at 3:33:00, Robin says, "you're feuding with O&A , but there's not even an Opie & Anthony anymore", howard says "no i don't even care i wish them well, i don't even know what their problem was in the first place"

He's admitted that earlier in his career he warred with other radio shows for no good reason out of unnecessary insecurity. With age comes a little more perspective. Things that look important when you are younger seem pretty petty when you get older. He's more mellow these days and he should be.
