Norton deliberately tried to bring up his shitty work projects with Nicolas Cage because he thought they were peers. The guy spent hundreds of millions on dinosaur skulls and castles. I am a huge fan of "Raising Arizona" "Gone in 60 seconds" other than those two, I cant think of another film he was in I actually like. The money largely came from the National Treasure franchise and his other adventures with Jerry Bruckheimer. Obviously he was born into a very comfortable background but the big money that he made (and consequently blew) was off his own back. I'm not a big fan of his either so not sure why I'm defending him
I just replied to the post about shit they bought and wasted money on, with neither of them graduating HS. He was a rich kid who didn't give a shit. Hes so fucked up he married elvis's daughter, only to have her put him out, and throw his ring in the ocean. I just dont like his acting at all, but he makes alot of movies and has fans still. If he weren't a Copolla he never would've been heard of. They tried Talia Shire.. she had massive side rolls in blockbusters.. then.. shit.

Jim's narcissism is astounding. He has to take a picture with every recognizable person, regardless of what he thinks of them. He didn't even like Cage, but he still wanted a picture, because his disorder drives him to want to be seen and associated with people of high status.
