Did anybody get a head count at the door? If more than 10 people showed up, id be shocked. Remember his live show at comicon? Half of those 7 people just accidently wandered in the wrong room, but then didn't want to be rude and walk out.
He had so much hope that day. Woke up, expecting a big day to meet his fans and release his first book. You can see in his eyes that he really was looking forward to a bunch people lined up in support. Even hired extra security because he knows his fans can get a little rowdy.
Id love to know what was said when they had to pack it in. Some B&N employee had to tell him that there wasnt anyone showing up and the phone is ringing off the hook. That it was best to just pack it in. He then has to take his 12 security guards with him and walk into an outraged mob of 3 people. Taking the walk of shame and we end up a solid gold video.
The amount of binge drinking that happened after that must have been legendary. Trying to forget what just happened and that those Panera employees were right.
15 years ago, he had fans that came out in droves to see o&a at live events. But when no one showed up to this book signing other than his compound media lackeys and hanger on’ers, he knew. I feel like after years of lying to himself, this right here is the moment he knew his career is truly over
After getting fired in 2014, Ant could have retired from broadcasting in any form, enjoyed what he had left of his money, and just lived a quiet life knowing that the fans missed and enjoyed him, all while communicating with Opie to try to figure out how to get the O&A show going again. Instead, he threw everything away because he has no business sense and is entirely self-destructive.

That's the face he makes every time he remembers that.
On my audible account I only have books about WWII and Roman Emperors like any man should but under the “Suggested for you” section I saw his fucking ridiculous cover staring back at me. I almost immediately canceled my account

This makes me feel sad for Anthony, now that I know how much more of a piece of shit his brother is

Let's remember that against this backdrop of shame and failure, Joe still completely stole the show with his boundless idiocy down on the street.
