What exactly is the purpose of Redban? I've heard him plenty on Joe's podcast and they describe him as comedian, but I've never heard anything even near funny from him
He made stupid videos and posted them online in an era where that shit was considered rocket science I guess. Joe Rogan was a message board weirdo that connected with him and moved him to L.A.
He worked as Rogans camera guy, he's the one who filmed the mencia shit then they started the podcast where he was the technician. He also started getting gigs doing stand up way above his pay grade because of nepotism, and somehow fucked up the easiest gig on earth and was fired from JRE. I also think he is worthless and unfunny
I always just assumed he left willingly to focus on his stupidly named podcast network. Seems like heās busier, plus heās sometimes a guest on JRE so it seemed like there was no bad blood.
Rogan paid him a decent salary (something like 80k/yr) to follow him around and make videos. That ended up being the podcast and Rogan has been supporting him financially for the last 12 years. Say what you will about Rogan, but he treats his lackeys well.

Pretty sure he was the original Jamie and helped Joe with all the technical stuff.
