O&A had especially bad callers.

Anytime I listen to Stern or Ron & Fez, the callers don't nearly as much ruin everything.

Stern had Ralph, who is the best caller in radio history. Say what you want about the guy, but could incite a fight like no other.

Him goofing on Scott the Engineer’s son’s band was great.

Mind linking this faggot to a YouTube clip, good sir?

The whole clip is great, but 14:40 is what I’m talking about specifically.

Yeah they really were the worst...I know what Opie did was the right thing for the show whenever he would go to the the phones...But they hardly ever contributed with anything useful...

i honestly enjoyed them, they're either be somewhat funny, or bomb so badly and everyone would take the piss out of them. bit of a win/win

also lest we forget this brilliant bit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KG7AymDAJ3w

The way Ron handled callers was the best. Most of the time he rarely ever acknowledged them past "You're on Ron and Fez.." and hung up on them immediately after they finished saying what they called to say.

I like it when he leaves a pause after some exaggerated statement and the caller starts back pedalling to break the silence.

There were some dreadful Ron and Fez callers too. Janice from Chicago was ear poison. Death Metal Moe sucked. So did fucking Blowhard. So did anyone from the "boards" or PalTalk.

In short, callers just generally suck on every show.

"Hello? Hey, yeah...uhm....am I on the air? hey, uhm....just wanted to say that Opie had a great like 25 minutes ago. Punchin' out!"

The old O&A callers now spend their days here positing endless "Faggot" and "Maybe Kiss You" posts
