Sometimes I'll see a thing like that "guy" on the right serving me coffee or something, looking resentfully at my watch or my Merc keys and wonder...what did "men" like them do in the 1950s? Did they exist? Were they Beatniks? Or just in the same low level socio-economic strata they are now but they knew their place then. How did they quench their desire for attention if they couldn't dress like gimps? Are they just a result of the modern world?
