His podcast is good, but to be honest, the story of the podcast is one of the funniest entertainment stories of all time. Maddox has somehow found a way to continuously shoot himself in the foot over the course or like 3 years.

Sometimes it would be "Anti-Vaxxers", sometimes it would be "Piss-Dribblets". It was pretty entertaining because Maddox would get super worked up, Dick would rant, they'd argue, it was funny. Turns out Maddox wasn't playing a character with his "Professor Maddox" persona, bit he actually thought he was some intellectual who never got a degree. He also wanted to be the star of the show, so sharing the spotlight with Dick got harder when, throughout the course of the show, it came out that Dick isnt an idiot, like he would pretend to be on the show, hes actually a pretty smart dude.
On top of that, Dick hooked up with Maddox's ex at a wedding after they had been broken up for like 3 years and Maddox was dating someone else. Dick thinks Maddox was trying for some weird polyamory relationship. The show got really tense for a while, but Dick lied and said they weren't dating. When Maddpx found out they were, without telling anyone what was up, Maddox says that the show is going on hiatus for 2 weeks while hes launching his new "Podcast Network" and they'd have clip shows in that time.
After the 2 weeks, Maddox comes back with another co-host, a guy Asterios who had been on the show as a guest a few times, and announced the show was ending. It could have been the end of it, but Maddox spent the entire episode thanking EVERYONE involved with the production except Dick (people who made thumbnails and wrote transcripts, etc).
Dick starts his own Podcast, says its creative differences, whatever. Then little barbs go out from either side behind the scenes. Maddox puts out a YouTube video trying to blame dick for everything, even going as far as to call dick a Rape Apologist. Things devolve, Dick embarrassed Maddox constantly, Maddox tries to sue Dick, Asterios, Asterios' employer (who just so happened to be one of the largest PR firms in the world), Patreon, a customer service representative at Patreon, and a few other parties for $20 million EACH. He gets laughed out of court.
These are the highlights, but it's so amazing how deep each part of this lore goes. If you have a job where you commute long distances, or have time to listen to stuff at work, I'd highly recommend going back and starting at Biggest Problem episode one, listening through, then starting The Dick Show at ep 1. Dont bother with Maddox's new show. You wont regret it.
This shows how much you don’t listen to the whole show. It definitely has some right wing/conservative leanings, but it’s a comedy show at the end of the day, not propaganda. You’d be surprised by how diverse the listenership really is.
