A few years ago there was a doctor out of Philadelphia that was murdering new borns, and performing partial birth abortions. I’ll never understand this all or nothing thing attitude. Can’t people say that the third trimester is off limits unless it involves the life of the mother?
Currently yes but the current spate of laws adds a mental health exemption in which the abortionist simply has to certify that the abortion was performed because the woman’s mental health was threatened. Additionally a lot of research is beginning to suggest that late term abortions are actually more dangerous than performing a c-section and delivering the baby when the life of the mother is threatened.

I will go you one further. Vast majority of times, the circumstances that lead to the death of the mother were not forseeable during the pregnancy. There is no test for almost all of what actually kills women in childbirth. My wife is really small and struggled mightily her first time, and almost bled to death on the table. We had no way to see that coming. Her second one was much better, easier, and safer but there was no way to see that coming either. But she’s a real woman and protects her children.

The abortionist hooks his fingers over the baby’s shoulders, holding the woman’s cervix away from the baby’s neck. He then jams blunt tipped surgical scissors into the base of the skull and spreads the tips apart to enlarge the wound.
A suction catheter is inserted into the baby’s skull and the brain is sucked out. The skull collapses and the baby’s head passes easily through the cervix.
