The Sardinian bit was a surprise. My family is pretty easily traceable on all sides and all the Northern European stuff was all very predictable. An American grandmother was Scots-Irish/Germanic but was hoping one of her ancestors had raped a squaw or something but no dice.

It will probably change they do update them, its not really accurate the percentages are for similar dna not exact for most of them, if you don't have results locked for others to compare be prepared for Joe Cumia types coming out of the woodwork claiming to be related
'Cumia is a nigger' jokes aside, it's probably put there for politically correct purposes or to support the 'Out of Africa' theory. You'll notice that the numbers add up to 100% without the less than symbol. It's either a rounding off error or ideological.

She was a bit disappointed that we didn't have a bit of 'Ashkenazi' in us, as she works in the media but don't know what she was expecting - everyone in our family looks like a stereotype of a preppy wasp.
I'm going to start a dna company that incudes at least 15% african or asian dna on your profile no matter what the true results are. It will feature genetic deep cuts like Igbo, Hmong, Samburu peoples etc.

It's autosomal, rather than mitochondrial or Y-DNA, so the results are a bit broader.
