It's obviously a great show. However, there are not many layers to it and I don't feel it is as rewatchable as the Sopranos. There is a lot of nuance in the Sopranos and on rewatch there is always somethingthe viewer may have missed. I think it's also one of the best comedic shows of all-time and it doesn't get enough credit in that regard. Breaking Bad, not so much.

I concur, doctor. I watched the whole thing (I only watched the final season "live") and couldn't understand what the fuck everyone was so hyphy about. I liked it, it was a good show, but "greatest TV show of all time" is just retarded. Doesn't even tough Game Of Thrones or Sopranos.

I loved this last season. I loved that whole show. It’s so well written.

They're not great works of literature by any means but if you love the show you'll probably love the books even more. If you're into the whole "reading" stuff.

I have the same malady, I don't care enough about fictional stories because I'm too conscious of the fact it's fictional. It's the only fictional series of books I ever completely finished and loved. But I'm just a guy though.

Under the Black Flag by David Cordingly and Gomorrah by Roberto Saviano are great non-fiction books. Stalin: The Court of the Red Tsar by Simon Montefiore is also good.

I used to read fiction, but I'm such a fan of biographies and history I just eat that shit up. Contemporary US history has been my jam for a while. I just picked up Secrets Of The Secret Service, holy shit are there some amazing stories in there. And wow, were the Clintons a pain in the ass.
