I don’t completely understand what’s happened to his nose. It was really big for a while and now it like deflated to look like a football with no air in it.

Cocaine use damages the blood vessels that supply the septum (the cartilage that separates the nasal passage and extends from the tip to the upper bridge.)

After prolonged use, this damage decrease blood/oxygen flow to the septum - essentially killing it. It collapses as a result. When the septum collapses, the entire shape of the nose is altered.

Heavy coke use may also affect the bridge of the nose (bone.) It can cause erosion, creating a condition called “saddle nose.”
