It's so, so funny. You know he assumed it'd be a whole spectacle with hordes of rowdy old O&A fans lining the street and girls whipping 'em out like it was 2000 again.

I couldn't believe in 2004 when they did their XM promo tour how few people showed up. They were so huge in Buffalo, that T&A with O&A probably drew 5000 people, it was amazing. Not even two years later, literally maybe 40 people showed up for the XM thing. We got there an hour early expecting it to be mobbed, and barely anyone showed up. I couldn't believe it. (I was in the "first 5000", I found out later)

There's just too much to do in LA or New York. It's hard to stand out. If Ant lived in Las Vegas he could reliably pull around 20-30 people a couple of times per week. There's just a LOT of people who visit Vegas, and surprisingly few options. It's the same reason that Adam Carolla plays to an audience of a thousand people in Seattle but when he does shows in SoCal he gets an audience of fifty people.

I always figured he'd eventually gravitate to Vegas, what with the gambling, guns, whores and pools and such but he never did. He probably could have had himself a real no-foolin' compound out there.

I never cared about how much he charged. I subbed because I was (and still am in some ways) a fan of Ant, Jim and Opie and wanted to support all of them because I’m a stupid asshole. I can live with that - I’m loyal. But the show was just so unnecessarily bad. It didn’t need to be. Take some constructive criticism you dumb animal. I listened to Opie with Jim because, while it wasn’t as good as the old show, it at least had some format and direction and Jimmy was still a little bit funny and Opie did steer him to topics he could handle well. I can’t listen to any of them do anything now. They all stink separately. I take that back, Jim is still funny on Anthony’s show. If I subscribed still, those would be worth listening to. But Jim loves his friend so much that he never shows up anymore. And Anthony on chip is unbearable because Chip is unbearable. Anthony’s show stinks. That’s it. It isn’t any more complicated than that. If he charged $20 a month I would subscribe if it made me laugh.
