Opie is a pile of garbage anyway. The show only ever took off because of ant and Jim's "humor". It's unfortunate that they turned out to be rapist degenerates but Opie knew the whole time and accepted it because they made the show. He stunk constantly and was never funny. The loving him bit is Opie level autism and for faggots.

They are all deeply troubled and deeply flawed man. But together they made the best radio show I’ve ever heard - which was also flawed and troubled. I won’t ever take that away from any of the three of them. I believe all three of them were necessary for the formula to work. I love all of these men, and I hate all of this man. It's embarrassing to say, but nothing has made me laugh more than that show. I still like Norton, no where near as much but I tolerate him, but I can't stand what Anthony's become, theres not a drop of humor in his fucking show, even his choice clips are a boring fuckin whatever.

One time I got so high listening to them that I clearly heard all the desperation behind their fake laughter, even on an epic roast show with Patrice, vos, quinn...and it was terrifying and hellish. But still eventually came back to being a daily listener because it still had that magic or whatever. And the thing about being forced to put out a fresh show every morning is really pretty incredible, and forces fresh creativity that podcasts just don't have. Opie and Anthony had a sense of immediacy. I think Anthony nailed it wants by saying the show was so good because they are actually laughing spontaneously in the moment, by creating new bits in the moment, and that adds that air of excitement.

Then explain why neither Ant nor Jim have been as successful WITHOUT him....

One owns a very successful media platform. One is on a very successful nationally heard radio platform, travels the world performing sold out stand up shows. One is heard by dozens on a free podcast from a bar. Only one sounds miserable to me.
