Cocaine cuts off blood circulation to your nose, that's the numb feeling(alcohol(whiskey nose) and even enough smoking cigarettes does it too) , if blood doesn't flow to this area then then cartilage rots and dies off.. you basically get an open wound inside your nasal passage which gets infected.. cocaine is a caustic/corrosive substance .. you don't feel it cuz it has a numbing effect while doing it

Drinking, smoking and doing coke togesther for a short length of time, without letting the blood vessels grow back, will result in 'coke nose'
It incredibly painful while the septum begins to perforate.. it feels likes your nasal passage is on fire and you can't stop blowing your nose Cuz the drip is so painful.. lying down is the worst cuz the blood flows to your head
