Anybody here watch The House That Jack Built?

It's on VOD now. Probably going to watch it tonight. I know it's off topic for this sub, but I remember seeing people talk about it on here a couple months back and was curious if anyone has seen it yet.

Lars von Trier is pretty tedious my dude

I don't know Jack or where he builds.

It's unusually clichéd for a LvT thing. It's about a movie serial killer, not a serial killer, and that's not intentional. Third in his accidental "shit I don't know anything about" trilogy, after Manderlay and Nymphomaniac. Disappointing, but still far better than the average supposedly good movie. And it's no fun at all, which is nice.

I want to see the unrated version. Any idea if there are plans for that version to be released?

Not until June 2019. They screened it in theaters for one night a few weeks ago

Yeah, I read about that. He got threatened by some commission for doing so. I guess I watch on Amazon this weekend

Watched it last night and I can't stop thinking about it. There are some scenes that are so funny and so dark, like when he performs taxidermy on one of his child victims.
