Not to mention that Artie is a career-long hack that has said maybe 3 funny things at best in a 30 year career. His standup is worse than Sal’s.

Months later, Artie hadn't paid Scott the $1000 - or ANY $ from benefit. Someone told Artie they knew he kept money, he panicked & paid Scott $1000. Nothing else. He's a real piece of unfunny shit.
The worst thing he has coming .. he doesn't die but has years of strokes and mini-strokes leaving him a real mess, bed-ridden, barely able to figure out what's happening, terrors, confusion, nobody can give him heroin or alcohol and he can't even ask for it. It's years of this until he doesn't know who he is or where he is anymore.
