Opie was actually trying to keep the old show alive. If Nana could have laid low for a while and shut the fuck up, they might have put it back together. But that drunken greaseball had to make sure he made himself too toxic to touch.
This is becoming more and more apparent. As much as he blamed Opie for everything, he was 90% of the reason why he was completely banned from the building, let alone reuniting O&A.
Perhaps if Jimmy had worked with Opie instead of being a stupid cunt they could have held it together long enough to convince SXM to rehire Anthony. Instead, the alcoholic and the dry drunk had to act like little bitches and destroy any chance of salvaging the show. Opie knew there was no saving Ant short term after those tweets. The Destroyer plays the long game.
Ugh, even though he was obsessed with Twitter he was really really bad at it. No one wants to read 1000 inline responses to individual tweets on the main feed.
Twitter has a "Tweets & Replies" link for that.
This is why I could never follow Ant, even when I liked him back in the day.

“They’re playing my old stuff yet they fired me, waaa”
“So you don’t think they should play it?”
“I never said that, ugh!”
Fucking whining teenage girl behaviour.
