Forced laughter aside, did anyone else think Ant came across really depressed on JRE?

When trying to pump up his network he was very flat and unenthusiastic, seemed uncomfortable when Rogan asked why Jim didn't come do the show with him and why Gavin left CM. He also all but admitted he's wallowing in obscurity, saying they've been thinking of making CM a tiered subscription service with a free option to try to compete and grow their numbers. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part but it seems like his book release has really driven home to him just how irrelevant he's become.

I dont believe he is depressed, i think hes worried about his future finances but not depressed about his lifestyle.

Yes, 100%.
It was actually kind of sad to watch him tell Joe Rogan, who likely makes millions of dollars each year from his free, ad-supported podcast, that maybe the subscription method isn’t the best way to go. Holy shit, Rogan told him that last time he was on four years ago, as did his once loyal fans here for years. “We might start putting out some free content.” Oh shit, really? What a novel idea.

Yeah, It was kind of uncomfortable to watch. He came off like a dog going off into the woods to die.
