If it didn't happen when Rogan was on the compound it'll happen when Ants on Joes show. Probably off air though - Rogan will tell Ant the paywall is stupid and it makes it impossible to get new listeners. Ant will know it's true because he's been riding the wave of day 1 see and sees the numbers dropping.

The book and Rogan appearance are Ants last chance to get another boost and when it doesn't work he'll switch to YouTube.

Rogan modeled his podcast after O&A. He liked the hang, decided it was the best way to do radio.

Then Ant gets fired and tries to do a shitty version of the Tonight Show.

His obsession with constantly talking to the audience instead of having a listenable conversation is the second biggest reason he's failing. The first is the paywall. He says he needs it because he can't get sponsors. If that's the case, he needs to scale back to a barebones podcast and build it. Instead he built a news studio and is desperately trying to cover the overhead and it will never break even, let alone make him any money or grow his show.

I'm sure Keith's paychecks are going through though.
