In the last convo I had with his brother, he made it seem like he had only a couple days left (this was 3 weeks ago). He is most likely haunting Anthony Cumia in that McMansion, which explains his physical metamorphosis into Ebenezer Scrooge.

Hey guys, my brother passed away last weekend at our grandparents' home in VT, surrounded by family. Rough few weeks, there's nothing peaceful about dying like that... Thanks for all of your kind words and good spirit. I messaged u/braunheiser, and dr. steve103, who are saints on earth, and so many of you guys who sent such nice messages, thanks; just now had the time to myself to log in and this was the first post I saw.
Phil hated sentimentality but I'll post again here with some his last thoughts that I thought were funny and want to share with people that will appreciate, as well as, what he insists, is a very funny photo..
