I got a clueless Jim Norton story

So this was a few years ago when Jim Norton was riding high in his career with Showtime special, peak O&A, standup gigs, etc.

At the time Norton was a regular fixture on Jay Leno's show as a scripted guest, participating in various things, mostly behind a podium to deliver "funny" quiz show format answers to Jay's serious questions. One time he appeared as a regular guest on the show where Justin Bieber was slated to perform. This was the height of the Belieber movement, so as you could imagine, the audience was packed with 13-14 year old girls. Completely oblivious who this Jim character was.

It was the Tonight Show bookers who fucked up and got Norton instead of someone more age-appropriate.

Norton being a talentless moron who can't read the room, sits down and proceeds to talk about getting jerked off at the massage parlour. And not in a subversive way that's funny. I mean, Completely humorless, just ways of him sticking his ass in the air to see if the masseuse would take up on his advances. He got nothing from the audience. These were mostly innocent kids looking a bald Six Flags creep talking about sticking his bare naked ass in the air hoping he could get jerked off.

To the best of my recollection, visibly embarassed Jay said something along the lines of of "Well you really picked the right crowd for this" or something along those lines.

Anyway, the worm has no situational awareness and sucks at life.

2 show on Sirius.

Lmao I remember this for some reason did they talk about the audience on the show or something

Well see this was an example of when that was actually funny. Haven't seen that in a while

This HAS to be on youtube. I'm going hunting.

Any luck

If this was peak O and A times, he would have gotten *atta boys* for keeping it real and they would have gotten mileage out of the cringe. I'm sure he felt the pressure. Not sure if you had ever heard this before, but the pressures and interpersonal dynamics of the show have been referred to once or twice as "toxic."
