Jim Norton during the show that talked about Patrice's death....

(Paraphrased) I heard that Elephant in the Room was great, but I haven't listened to it yet. You don't want to listen to what your peers are doing.
It was funny how you could feel the "what the f are you talking about, dude?" vibe even over the radio from the other comics there.
Also, LOL @ The Worm being Patrice's peer.

Why the fuck does he say shit like this. Does he think he'll parallel think" some other comics material? Jim there are exactly three subjects you talk about in stage; AIDS, fucking kids, and Brazilian hookers shitting in your mouth. You're not going to accidentally steal anything as clever as Pepsi cola rapist.

On the one hand Patrice could be dead on the other he might not be. I never saw him when he was alive or dead. I would tell you if I did. Honestly.

Not observing his peers really helps explain why he is still so shitty after spending decades doing it.

He's literally been doing the same "I'm a degenerate" jokes for 20 years. I bet he still hasn't watched it. Honestly fuck Jim Norgen.

Yeah but dude have you ever heard of someone paying for sex? With women of questionable gender?!

He still makes the same 'I LIKE COCKS & TRANNIES AHAHA' jokes on J&S even with celebrity guests there who don't know shit about him. He has the same raised eyebrows over-excited expression when delivering that hack shit every time. I fucking hate him.

This doesn't make any sense. Jim Norton does stand-up every night, he has been hanging out at stand-up clubs every night for decades.
How can he claim that he doesn't listen to other people's stand-up?
I would honestly believe that Jim doesn't want to watch other peoples' specials, because it would make him feel bad about himself.

He goes to one club every night.
1 whatisthishere 2018-10-19
Yeah, the one all of those guys go to.
1 NateRiley12411 2018-10-19
Yeah but most of them go to several other clubs every night and do multiple sets to work out material. Jim only does the Cellar.

Just from listening to a lot of comedy podcasts, it seems like established comedians all have their place to do comedy, and it's basically set what time they go on every night. That makes sense for the clubs, and for the comedians.
Less known comics aren't advertised, and they may go to a bunch of clubs and go on when there is time.

He probably sits upstairs at the Olive Tree playing with his phone during other comedians sets.

When one of his “peers” get up to do a set, he puts in his earbuds and listens to his Jerky Boyz CD.

And why doesn't he know how to do it himself still

I remember when Worm would cover his ears on Tough Crowd when other comics did their Act 4s.

Id love to hear Patrice`s opinion about todays global shitshows...he saw alot of this SJW / feminist shit coming. His argument / counter punches have allowed me to shutdown thei shit narrative and feel smart for a minute. Hed tear ant and the worm to pieces, tits too but he always ha d a soft spot / respect? for the opester

Parallel thinking my ass. Baby boy can’t handle sitting down to watch a special that would show what a tired old hack he is by comparison
1 David_Tosk 2018-10-19
Doesn't matter. He's not funny on stage
