Carrots are sweet and they’re the best part of a salad if you go no dressing.

I find them boring. I like to add a nice sliced appla to my spinach salad with some crushed pecans, lime juice and olive oil. Now that there's some good eatin.

Apple is too tart if to go well with hard boiled egg, carrots are perfect because they’re sweet but bland, and texture wise they fit in better.
