I'm pretty sure he's very autistic. There's some early interviews where his voice is shaky and he just sounds really awkward. A drummer who worked with him was asked by him "hey, when you talk about me you don't call me Brian do you?" He's a weird guy but he's an amazing musician and apparently very nice. His dream job is to be an entertainer at Disneyland.
