Well, that’s kind of how civil disobedience goes at these sorts of things. It’s not like they were storming an army base. Their intent is to get arrested for unlawful assembly and the police complied smoothly.
Oh totally it's just the fact that they're not at any risk is my point -- which is kind of self-evident but still worth pointing out. I mean say what you like about 60's radicals but much of the time they were actually at great risk. This is entitled people LARPing as revolutionaries and it sticks in my craw if I may be so bold.
No doubt. The social media angle makes it all so immediate for these self centered celebutards too. She’ll be instagramming about her “jail experience” for weeks and will probably end up trying to make a Nannette style one-piggy show about her harrowing arrest.
