Which made me think Patrice since Opie talks/talked about being close with him.

Well, comicS. I think it's possible Patrice was one of the few, if not the only, who legitimately had no hard feelings with Opie. If you listen long enough you can pretty much tell the comics who don't like him, usually they wind up making some reference to Opie not being able to take a joke. Even Vos has done this while using his beach house for vacation.

But Patrice I think probably did like Opie.

You're probably/hopefully right. He did seem pretty loyal. Otto, as much as I did love him most of the time, was definitely one of the people he was talking about. Plus he fits the criteria of openly bashing him on air.

I think patrice would have no problem telling opie what he thought of him if he needed to.

Opie 100% gave those guys their big breaks and them being mad about the word "GAVE" doesn't negate the fact that Opie was the one who did in fact give them their shot at big success.
