I like it because he is slowly getting more angry every week in the most polite way. He also doesn't give a Fuck about anything. I sent him an email a few years ago and he pretty much scolded me for asking it.
yeah she slushed around a lot of dirty money that came from the backs of the poor on top of her 'hospitals' where people just stayed to die, not get treated. Real piece of shit.
In all honesty without Hitchen's "the missionary position" ect. who would have even known that Mother Terersa was a piece of shit? He fucking ruined that cocksucker like the destroyer and caused massive, world-wide butthurt. He did this with Princess Diana too. I think he overdid the atheism shit towards the end, but a lot of his books are tremendous and Hitch 22 is one of the best autobiographies I have read. Very real, honest and touching, but not in the way that Ant touches his family members. I was all aboard with the hitch, and when he died it upset me so I started smoking & grew a beard out of respect like the Opster would have sniff
There's a pretty funny debate between Bill Donohue -- the Catholic league dude who actually called into O&A a few times funnily enough -- and Hitchens about his Teresa book you might enjoy if you haven't seen it. It's on youtube.
Hitchens was funnier than most of the comedians that come up today. Called Clinton a rapist on national TV. Trashed female comedians and laughed smugly when they tried to refute him. And wouldn't stop smoking or drinking during his short interview on Penn & Teller Bullshit.
Amazing video. Atheism aside, I wish he was here to still speak truth like that. He'd have a lot to say about how far America went down that crazy ideology of men and women being exactly the same
Totally. Though he'd likely call me a 'fascist crackpot' as he famously did during a debate with his bro -- though not directed at his bro -- I always enjoyed his ideas.
And yes that's absolutely true, the Iraq war was a mistake. I am a military veteran who has a war on terror medal even though the so called "war on terror" started before I even had pubic hair. It reminds me of the fake political wars of "1984" which is a book Hitchens loved. However, I admire his conviction in the face of alienating his fellow liberals.
The dude voted for Obama despite all that. I miss having complex and flawed men of conviction like him in the debate.
Now we have either ideological soyboys who scream "toxic" and "privilege" or we have "1488 heil Hitler" as the alternative.
Another thing I liked about him is he refused to cut out the exception for the Islamic world, which brutally punishes girls and women just for being born with a vagina. Liberals today who are largely irreligious, secular, pro-gay, and feminist walk on eggshells because those people are "brown"
As a "brown" person myself it's insulting and horrific that this happens. Hitchens was having none of that shit, and that was great.
Yeah that's why I respect Dawkins at all cause, unlike many secular progressives, is at least consistent when it comes to his religious critique when many just stick to safe targets like Christianity.

I even forgive his insufferable atheism because of this piece.

Maybe he was hungover and trying to find God with his garage opener.

I had a twitter convo with him and he scolded me too. :) Love that angry mugggg.

What did he scold you about? I just asked him how to deal with university Marxists. His reply was to perhaps consider he was a Marxist.
1 literalotherkin 2018-09-24
I asked him what he thought of Orban. got a scolding.
1 Puppy_Action_Squad 2018-09-24
That's what you get for wasting the mans time. Shame on you.
1 literalotherkin 2018-09-24
Well TBH my first question was about his claim about Bela Kun and sex education which he had no source for but then Orban came up. Salty dog!

He was really disingenuous on a lot of issues, but when he was genuinely disgusted at something so awful he would really let them have it

Read his mother Theresa book and his kissinger book
1 xyniphis 2018-09-24
He also called Clinton a pedophile rapist while he was president on Dennis Millers HBO show
1 ffffantomas 2018-09-24
He didn't call him a pedophile but he did call him a war criminal and a rapist
1 xyniphis 2018-09-24
Said he liked to fuck kids (refering to lewinsky as a child when she was early 20s) but did not say the word pedo, so point to you.
1 SpeckofCoppah 2018-09-24
Norm called Clinton a murderer on the View. That's bravery.

Mother Theresa is legitimately an asshole, though

What did he say about Mother Theresa that was wrong? She was a phony, evil cunt.

He died before Nanette. Lucky sod.

The funniest thing Bonnie has ever done was make an entire documentary that wound up proving Hitchens was right.
1 danTHEdikc 2018-09-24
Bonnie never considered the obvious, that she isn't funny and it has nothing to do with her vagina.

He wrote a whole book shitting all over the Clintons before it was cool.

Oh BTW I know it's the kind of trite cliche that Hitchens would have despised but genuinely thanks for your service.
