I do not like Opie and I refuse to "DO THE BIT". That said, he's one of the only people from the show that actually committed to raising a family. In that sense, I can respect him on some level. On a subjective level, I think he's a cunt. I don't know if he's doing a better job than Travis. He might be... But there's a good chance that he isn't. I don't know.

But I know for damn sure that he's a better parent than Sam is. Also, pretty much every time Scorch was brought up, Opie (and even Anthony) found ways to walk-back the Scorch mockery without being prompted in a way that was at least semi-genuine because they both actually knew him personally. Whereas Sam waited until THIS YEAR to try to get back in Scorch's good graces due to the overwhelming Scorch support shown by this sub in the last four or five years. He was not only late to the party, but was extremely transparent in the phony bullshit he was trying to pull.
