Joe doesn't have the drive to be employed

from what I remember it wasn’t even Joes idea to give the tape to Opie, Ant brought up the then unknown DJ and his lunk head of a big brother had to trudge his fatass over there and hand over a copy.

Yup. It's right at the start of Beige's documentary. He says Ant told him about this guy called Opie who was on the radio and also that Ant wrote all the words to the parody song.

Of course in retrospect Joe frames it as "I wouldn't leave until a little known DJ called Opie played our song". This bum lives in a fantasy world where he's one half of Lennon and McCartney who deserves royalties from something whose success he was never a part of.

It's hilarious how he gets all reflective about it like they created some unimpeachable masterpiece that changed the world.

Ant rewrote the lyrics and the harmonic content was already written by a real artist. There was zero creative input from Jenkem at all except hitting "play" on the tape deck. Lord knows Ant did that too.

It's terrible too. Ant's blackface mugging is cringe inducing and the lyrics are retarded. No one was ever "gon' electro-shock OJ", it's fucking weak.

that flabby jackass always gets outspoken about shit that makes him feel insecure. military service, ant's success, his ugly girlfriend, his health, pedophilia...

I scrolled by this a few times not even realizing that it's a hot dog

Basically called his meal ticket a lazy idiot. Not at all inaccurate of course but Anthony had to resent that. Luckily for Joe, 🐜 will never say or do anything about it.

They were sending songs to Stern for years. Even this song was played for 2 seconds on the stern show long before they brought it to Opie. Someone posted the clip here of Stern talking about the song, plugging rotgut, playing 3 seconds of it and then going on to the next song. Joe and Nana were obsessed stern fans who did everything they could to get on his show, they got through twice that I know about. This song and the Jackie imitation contest.

He's making a fortune renting out his girlfriends daughters pussy

He looks like a first level bad guy in a shitty arcade or Nintendo game.

Well hot dog!
