Ending with "I Am I Said" would be brilliant. The Paramour thing is well made and amusing, but it's ultimately just another breezy, goofy, vapid meme. The Neil Diamond song on the other hand is solemn and layered in all the right ways. Besides being a beautiful song and a decent cover, the lyrics echo the fundamental existential angst underlying most of Ant's misdeeds and indiscretions, which are the overt, surface-level subject matter of the series. You couldn't ask for a better thematic and aesthetic concluding insignia - plunging head-on into the psychic depths of your subject in song-form, performed by that very subject. It's beyond fucking perfect.
